Meet the Founder
Founded by Cindy, Kyndred is the evolution of over 27 years in the makeup and beauty industry. After travelling the world as a hairstylist and makeup artist, Cindy settled in Canberra in 2013, continuing to build an extensive editorial portfolio. Her work has been featured in more than 35 national and international fashion publications, including VOGUE Italia, and across film and television campaigns for brands such as Netflix Australia and Paramount+.
Over the years, Cindy became known locally for bringing festival glamour to life - including hosting an annual marquee at Groovin’ The Moo Canberra, where guests were transformed with glitter and jewels.
What began as a love of glitter styling grew into something more. Kyndred was created as a premium pop-up Glitter Bar experience, designed for events that deserve elevated sparkle.
Today, Kyndred has grown into a collective of trained glitter artists - a true creative family. The name reflects the vision: building a community of like-minded, passionate creatives who share a love of artistry, confidence and, of course, a little sparkle.
